About the Author
Hello, my name is Waps. I just turned 36 three days ago. I've had many blogs before, and most of them contained the emotional ramblings and poetry of a sad and miserly teen/twentysomething.
This new blog is an attempt to reclaim the power of focused writing and wrest control away from the anxiety-fuelling social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram. This blog will be about my adventures and misadventures. My history. My story. The series of events that led me to the creation of this blog, which is also an attempt to retell my struggles and make sense of what to do next in life. Maybe insert a meaningful essay here and there. Maybe create meaningful, original content that is more than just an easy fix of likes and hearts. Maybe inspire others/myself along the way to find what is truly meant for us.
I'm not expecting much readership anyway, since let's face it, who still blogs these days? But that's totally fine with me. Part of me doesn't want the attention--but well, part of me is just dying to tell a good story. And mine happens to be complicated.
So here's to finding ourselves by getting totally lost along the way.
